Nancy Zagbayou
Associate Lawyer
Nancy Zagbayou is an associate lawyer at Addo Law PC. She is fluent in English and French. Nancy is passionate about providing legal solutions that empower her clients to succeed. She holds degrees in Common Law and Civil Law from McGill University’s Faculty of Law. During law school, Nancy distinguished herself as the Managing Editor of the McGill Law Journal.
Before law school and the practice of law, Nancy graduated Valedictorian Suma Cum Laude, from North Carolina State Universities with degrees in Economics, Political Science and French language and literature. She is a member of the Law Society of Ontario, the Canadian Association of Black Lawyers, and the Black Female Lawyer Network. Nancy is a travel enthusiast. She also enjoys practicing yoga, running long distances, and dancing.
Lera Nwineh
Associate Lawyer
Lera Nwineh is an associate lawyer at Addo Law. He earned his Juris Doctor from Western University, where he was actively involved in research and advocacy initiatives. During law school, Lera served two terms as the National Treasurer of the Black Law Students’ Association of Canada. He holds a BA(Hons.) in political science and philosophy from the University of Toronto, where he graduated with High Distinction. Lera is passionate about helping clients manage legal risk and resolve matters efficiently.
Lera is a member of the Law Society of Ontario, the Ontario Bar Association, the Toronto Lawyers Association, the Canadian Association of Black Lawyers, and the Advocates’ Society. He volunteers with Pro Bono Ontario’s Legal Advice Hotline and currently serves as a board member of a large urban health agency in Toronto.
Outside of his practice, Lera enjoys exploring new ways to stay active, though football (soccer) remains his favourite. An avid soccer fan, he proudly supports AC Milan and follows the sport closely. Lera is a longevity enthusiast and aspiring centenarian with a deep curiosity about health and performance. He also loves cooking and visiting local farmers’ markets to source fresh ingredients.
Isioma Morka-Christian
Law Student
Isioma Morka-Christian is a law student at Addo Law P.C. She supports the firm’s civil litigation, construction law, and real estate litigation practices by conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, and managing client files. Isioma is a Nigerian-trained lawyer. She holds an LL.B. from Ambrose Alli University, a B.L. from the Nigerian Law School, an M.A. in International Law and the Settlement of Disputes from the UN-mandated University for Peace (UPEACE) in Costa Rica, and an LL.M. from the University of Windsor, where she also earned a University Teaching Certificate. She is currently working toward legal licensing in Ontario, Canada. Outside of her legal work, Isioma enjoys baking and watching historical documentaries and fictional legal dramas.
Rhoda Osae-Akonnor
Law Student
Rhoda is a student-at-law at Addo Law P.C. She holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A) in Sociology from Trent University, a Bachelor of Laws (LL. B) from Swansea University, and a Master of Laws (LL.M) in International Legal Studies from the University of Bradford. In her role at Addo Law P.C., she assists with client matters in civil litigation, real estate, family and construction law including conducting legal research, drafting pleadings and affidavits. Outside her work, Rhoda enjoys singing and has participated in choirs and vocal performances. In her spare time, she enjoys watching documentary’s and true-crime shows.
Karishma Mishra
Law Student/NCA Candidate
Karishma is a law student at Addo Law P.C. She is currently completing the National Committee on Accreditation (NCA) to become licensed to practice law in Canada. She holds an LL.B. from the University of Dundee, Scotland. Karishma completed an internship program at DC Thomson Media in the UK, where she gained experience in intellectual property and data protection, commercial contracts and corporate work.
At Addo Law P.C., Karishma conducts legal research, draft pleadings, and assist with case preparation across a variety of practice areas including civil litigation, real estate, and construction law. She is committed to providing detail-oriented and client-focused legal support as she works towards full accreditation and licensing in Ontario.
In her spare time, Karishma enjoys dancing, cooking new dishes, reading with her coffee, spending time with her family and friends and going on long walks with her dog.
Jennifer Oliver-Commey
Law Clerk/Licensed Paralegal
Jennifer is a law clerk at Addo Law P.C. and also a licensed paralegal in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario. She obtained her Paralegal Diploma from Seneca Polytechnic and brings several years of experience within the legal profession, with a particular focus on real estate law, family law, and small claims matters.
In her capacity as law clerk at Addo Law P.C., Jennifer provides essential support in the areas of case management, legal research and analysis, and the preparation of legal documentation. She is also responsible for maintaining legal accounts, preparing invoices, coordinating appointments, and managing professional correspondence and administrative tasks with diligence and efficiency.
Beyond her professional commitments, Jennifer enjoys engaging in culinary pursuits and dedicates time to reading and spending quality time with family.
Nifesimi Adewale
Law Clerk
Nifesimi Adewale is a law clerk at Addo Law PC. She supports the firm through legal research, drafting, and client assistance. She completed her undergraduate studies at York University in 2025. Nifesimi aspires to become a lawyer. She approaches her work with professionalism, curiosity, and attention to detail.
In her spare time, Nifesimi enjoys music, creative writing, and spending time with loved ones, activities that reflect her passion for connection and personal growth
